LP Rock Events, after last year's great success, announces big news for Bay Fest 2016: it's 2 days!

Two dates for the punk rock festival to be held in mid-August in Bellaria Igea Marina Rimini Italy.


Day 1
Headliner of Day 1 will be NOFX top band of the world's punk scene, coming from San Francisco.
Active since 1983, NOFX over the years, have become a cult band for entire generations of punk rockers, because they always remained true to their ideal: Do It Yourself.  NOFX are working with the recordings of their 13th album, which is going to add up to an infinity of smaller outputs between EP, 7 "b-sides and rarities, making them the most prolific group in the history of punk rock.

Second name announced for Bay Fest is STRUNG OUT from Simi Valley California, active since 1992.
Over time they became a world icon with their hardcore punk sound influenced by metal music.
They are currently promoting "Transmission. Alpha Delta" their eighth full lenght.

Third group announced: A WILHELM SCREAM from New Bedford, Massachusetts. One of the most technical live band on the hardcore punk scene today, working under the cult label "No Idea Records".

Day 2
For the first time in Italy after 30 years from its foundation we'll welcome SCREECHING WEASEL, the punk rock band from Chicago. Reference group for generations of punk rockers, the band lives around the figure of the mythical, charismatic and much discussed leader Ben Weasel, one of the most controversial character of the world's punk scene.
After years of little live shows, Screeching Weasel began playing more after the release of the album "First World Manifesto" for Fat Wreck Chords in 2011 and they are at Bay Fest  for one of their really rare appearances in Europe.

The Swedish band SATANIC SURFERS returns to Italy after 10 years since their last concert. They are one of the founders of the skate punk music. In 2007, after 18 years, seven albums and concerts worldwide, Rodrigo Alfaro & Associates retire from acting to pursue side projects, but now they're back for a reunion tour and will make their first and only Italian date on August 15, 2016 at Bay Fest!
